Getting Started with Wyman Projects
We love helping firm leaders find the focus they need.
If you’re new to working with us, here’s a handy guide that details how we go from your first message to getting started on your project.
Phase 1: Clarity
Once we receive your initial message, we’ll see if we’re a good fit for your needs.
We’ll clarify project scope, schedule, and budget with you via email or a call.
When that is finalized, we’ll send you a proposal, which you’ll sign and return.
Finally, we’ll coordinate any deposits required and proceed with Phase 2.
Q: How do you determine your project fees?
A: Marketing Audits/Plans typically start at $2,500, depending on the scale of your firm and the number of stakeholders who need to be involved. Fees for design and production work are determined by the project scope and schedule.
Phase 2: Discovery
We’ll send you our personalized Discovery Questionnaire to complete.
We’ll then hop on a call to review and ask additional questions.
After that, we may schedule additional stakeholder interviews if needed.
Once we have this feedback in hand, we can move on to Phase 3.
Q: How long does the Discovery Phase take?
A: The Discovery Phase typically takes 1-2 weeks depending on the number of stakeholders and their availability.
Phase 3: Framework
If you’ve hired us for a Marketing Audit/Plan, we will run the AEC Marketing Framework based on the feedback we received in Phase 2. (If you’ve hired us for Design and Production work, we’ll proceed with the agreed upon schedule.)
We may contact you with additional questions if needed.
We’ll then summarize our findings and recommendations into a comprehensive Marketing Plan presentation deck.
Finally, we’ll regroup on a call to review and hand over your Marketing Plan.
Q: How long does the Framework Phase take?
A: It usually take us 1-2 weeks to complete your Marketing Plan. Exact timing will depend on the number of stakeholders and scheduling.
Q: What can I expect to receive in my Marketing Plan deck?
A: The Marketing Plan deliverable will map out in detail the first 3 months of recommended action items with next quarter goals for a calendar year. We will also provide you with a list of quick wins that you can implement immediately within the first week.
Phase 4: Implementation (Optional)
If you need assistance implementing your Marketing Plan, we can provide you with a proposal for additional work (if we can help).
If your scope is not in our wheelhouse, we will provide you with any resources we can to help you achieve your goals.
Lastly, we are available to provide long-term coaching to keep your team focused and on track with the Marketing Plan. We suggest that you revisit your Plan each year and we are happy to facilitate that review.
